In 1960, the US Food and Drug Administration approved the pill as safe for contraception. In 1953, the legendary contraceptive crusade Margaret Sanger gave it to Dr. Gregory Goodwin Pincus continues his previous research with $ 150,000 to create a safe and effective oral contraceptive for women.
