August 4th
Born on August 4, 1905; died April 14, 1995 at the age of 89.
British analytical psychologist who applied Jungian analysis to the study of child development. His research and writings provide a theory of individual processes in the early childhood years that were not previously in Jungian’s thinking. Subsequent accumulating evidence from experimental and analytical sources added value to his idea of self-motivation as an important feature of development.
