FMGE Exam Pattern 2023

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released the exam pattern for the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) 2023 for the June session. The FMGE 2023 exam consists of one paper with 300 multiple-choice questions. Each question will have four response options in English, and candidates must select the correct answer. The exam will be divided into two parts, Part A and Part B, with a total duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes allotted for each part. There will be a scheduled break between the two parts. The marking scheme awards one mark for every correct answer, and there is no negative marking. To pass the FMGE exam, candidates must score a minimum of 150 out of 300 marks. It is important for MBBS graduates to be familiar with the FMGE 2023 exam pattern to adequately prepare for the examination.

FMGE Exam Pattern 2023

Exam Format	The FMGE 2023 exam is conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format.
Language	The exam is conducted in the English language.
Number of Papers	The exam consists of a single pap
Total Questions	The FMGE 2023 exam will have 300 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
Question Structure	Each question will have four response options, and candidates need to select the correct answer from the given options.
Exam Parts	The question paper will be divided into two parts – Part A and Part B.
Exam Duration	Each part of the FMGE 2023 exam will have a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Negative Marking	There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
Passing Marks	Candidates must secure a minimum of 150 marks out of 300 to pass the FMGE exam.
