NEET SS exam 2020 eligibility criteria
- In order to be eligible for NEET SS, aspirants require to hold a postgraduate degree (MD/ MS/ DNB) or it’s equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Aspirants who will complete their postgraduate degree on or before September 25, 2020, will only be eligible for NEET SS 2020, as completing the degree after the due date will lead to ineligibility for admission
- Interested aspirants must be registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) and registration proof needs to be submitted at the test centre on the day of the examination.
NEET SS exam 2020 eligibility criteria for foreign nationals
- MCI registration is not required by NRI for appearing for NEET SS entrance test but they have to be registered with appropriate authority of their respective country.
- Temporary registration will be granted to applicants for the duration of the postdoctoral course, after qualifying the NEET SS 2020.
- This registration of the NRI candidates will be temporary and shall be limited to the medical college/institution in which their admission has been granted.

How to fill the NEET SS application form 2020?
- Step 1. Registration

- Aspirants need to visit the NBE official website: www.nbe.edu.in
- Then, select the NEET SS 2020 tab
- Click on the link of “new registration”
- Candidates are then required to fill the personal, contact, and captcha detail
- After filling all the required details, candidates need to submit the registration form.
- After submitting, a confirmation message mentioning the user id and password will be sent to registered mobile number and email ID.
- Step 2. Filling out details in NEET SS 2020 application form
- After accessing the unique user id and password, aspirants are required to login to their NEET SS applicant portal by using the login credentials.
- After logging, fill the requisite personal, qualification and test centres details.
- Candidates must note to fill the required field with valid information. It is important to enter the details carefully.
- Step 3. Uploading the documents and choosing the test centres
- Candidates are advised to upload the required documents within the aforementioned specifications.
- After uploading the documents choose the centres of NEET SS 2020 according to your preferences.
- It must be noted that the NEET SS 2020 exam centres will be allotted on the first come first serve basis. So, candidates are advised to fill the NEET SS application form as early as possible.
- Step 4. Pay the NEET SS application fee 2020

What is the pattern of NEET SS question paper?
NEET SS syllabus 2020
- The question paper is divided into two parts (Part A and Part B).
- Part A Syllabus

- Part-A of the question paper for any super specialty course shall comprise MCQs from the eligible feeder broad specialty course(s).
- In case, a candidate opted only for a single feeder broad specialty course for a particular super specialty, Part A in that case will include questions from only one broad specialty. For eg. MS/DNB General Surgery is the only feeder broad speciality for MCh Urology, therefore Part A of Urology question paper will include questions from General Surgery.
- For Super-specialty courses having multiple feeder broad specialty courses, Part-A will comprise questions from all the eligible feeder broad specialty courses. For eg. The eligible feeder broad specialties for super-specialty courses in Cardiology are General medicine, Pediatrics and Respiratory medicine.
- Hence, Part -A of Cardiology question paper shall include questions from all the three feeder broad specialty courses i.e. General Medicine, Pediatrics & Respiratory Medicine.

It shall comprise of 60 questions from the concerned super specialty.

The questions shall be included from the topics of PG Exit level which cover clinical practice and basic sciences as applied to the concerned super specialty.
