- Geratology is a branch of medicine that focuses on all problems of elderly people,
including the mechanism and physical changes of aging, prevention and treatment of
geriatric disease, geriatric psychology and new concepts in an aging society.
Description:
- In this course, we introduce the basic knowledge and achievements in the area of aging, which contains the mechanism, physiology, pathology, and epidemiology of geriatric diseases, as well as geriatric sociology and psychology.
- We pay more attention to common clinical problems occurring in elderly people, such as falls, depression, cerebrovascular disease, cardiovascular disorders, neurocognitive disorders and pulmonary disease.
