Operative Surgery syllabus in China
- The objectives to introduce anatomical aspects of surgical operations, to master the basic operative techniques and methods of common operations, to lay a foundation for surgery and related courses, including necessary theory and practice.
Course Description:
- Through this course, the student should: (1) Master the layer anatomy used in common operations, relative structures and clinical significance (2) Master aseptic techniques and basic operative techniques (3) Master the basic steps and attention points of common surgical operations
Teaching methods
- AV teaching: at the beginning of the end of every class, we will watch a segment from AV, including the main content of the class in order to enhance the comprehension of the students. If it is an operation, it will show the process for both animals and human beings.
- Enhancement of teaching: during the class, not only will the teacher impart, but also encourage the students to ask questions and share relevant experience for the benefit of the class.

Examination pattern & marks distribution
The examination pattern is the combination of both skill examination and theory examination, the total mark for the examination is 100.
The distribution is as follows:
- Skill examination: 60%, Ordinary marks: 20% refers to the ordinary performance during the operation in the class; The final skill examination: 40%.
- Theory examination: 40%, including Attendance marks: 10%; Operative record: 10%; Quiz: 20%
